Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Washington was not quite St. Charles's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Washington of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for St. Charles, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Washington will challenge St. Francis Borgia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Charles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
