Lugoff-Elgin has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Ridge View Blazers on the road by a 90-73 margin on Saturday. One positive for the Demons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Demons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Oliver Coleman, who went 6 of 10 en route to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Coleman a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Long, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Lugoff-Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Ridge View, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Lugoff-Elgin has already played their next match (against West Florence), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ridge View will head out to square off against Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridge View is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
