Basketball Game Preview: Lindsay Knights vs. Slidell Greyhounds

The Lindsay Knights will take on the Slidell Greyhounds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lindsay is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Gunter just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were beaten by the Tigers 60-20. The match marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Slidell has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 46-37 to Clifton on Saturday.

Slidell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Lindsay, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Lindsay didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Slidell when the teams last played back in November, but they still walked away with a 39-35 victory. Will Lindsay repeat their success, or does Slidell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
