Basketball Recap: New Life Academy Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

New Life Academy won the last time they faced Victory Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The New Life Academy Bobcats strolled past the Victory Christian Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 66-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

New Life Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dontrel Lee out in front who posted 28 points. The contest was Lee's third in a row with at least ten points. Zion Harmon was another key player, putting up 19 points.

New Life Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Victory Christian, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Life Academy will challenge Suffolk Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will face off against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
