Baseball Recap: Talawanda Comes Up Short

Talawanda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-5 to the Lebanon Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Brave of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Ethan Hainline and Jericho Fletcher did some serious damage despite the final result: Hainline got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Fletcher went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that Fletcher has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was C.J. Froehlich, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Talawanda's record is now 0-10. As for Lebanon, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Talawanda will square off against Monroe at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lebanon, they will host Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
