Softball Recap: Sandy Valley Comes Up Short

Sandy Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Round Mountain Knights, falling 22-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 on Friday.

Sandy Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Round Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Sandy Valley will square off against Mountain View Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Round Mountain, they will take on White Pine at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Round Mountain will need to watch out since White Pine has now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
