Game recap: Mountain View High School Football Team defeats Cholla

TUCSON, Ariz. - Mountain View (Tucson, Ariz.) jumped out to an early lead against Cholla (Tucson, Ariz.) and never looked back on the way to a 48-0 victory on Saturday.

The Mountain Lions put up 21 points in the opening frame. Mountain View scored on a touchdown catch by James Robinson, a touchdown catch by Zach Ayers and a touchdown run by Richie Estrada.

After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by Robinson in the first quarter, MV led 42-0 at the half.

Robinson was the top performer for the Mountain Lions. The senior ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.

Mountain View went into the matchup giving up only 16.7 points per game.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 39-0 win for MV.

With the win the Mountain Lions extended their winning streak to three games.
