Baseball Recap: North Charleston Comes Up Short

North Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Battery Creek Dolphins, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dolphins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Friday.

North Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Battery Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. North Charleston will face off against rival Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Battery Creek is set to take on their familiar foe Hanahan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
