Football Recap: Chugiak Piles Up the Points Against Encinal

Chugiak's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Encinal Jets, posting a 45-6 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Chugiak's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chugiak will head out to square off against Lathrop at 1:00 p.m. on September 6. As for Encinal, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Archie Williams at 2:00 p.m. on September 6.
