Volleyball Recap: Mesa Verde Takes a Loss

Mesa Verde was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the San Juan Spartans. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 11, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Mesa Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for San Juan, with the win, they broke their nine-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mesa Verde is set to take on their familiar foe Golden Sierra at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, San Juan will square off against rival Woodland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
