* The Seahawks have not had a No. 1 overall pick in the draft in the past 25 years. The highest selection during that time has been Rick Mirer at No. 2 overall in 1993.
* Of the Seahawks' 23 first round draft picks since 1990, two have been from the state of Washington - Jerramy Stevens of
River Ridge (Lacey, Wash.) in 2002 and Marcus Trufant of
Wilson (Tacoma, Wash.) in 2003.
* Four of those 23 first round draft picks have come from Texas - Sam Adams in 1994, Marcus Tubbs in 2004 and Russell Okung and Earl Thomas in 2010.
* In 2001, Seattle drafted high school teammates Ken Lucas and Floyd Womack. They both attended
East Side (Cleveland, Miss.).
* Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith is one of two players the Seahawks have drafted from
Taft (Woodland Hills, Calif.). The other is Taco Wallace in 2003.
* Two years in a row, Seattle took a player out of Wisconsin with the No. 75 overall pick - John Moffitt in 2011 and Russell Wilson in 2012.
* Three-time first team all-pro Richard Sherman from
Dominguez (Compton, Calif.) was not selected until the fifth round of the 2011 draft.
