Basketball Game Preview: Coffee Trojans vs. Tift County Blue Devils

The Coffee Trojans and the Tift County Blue Devils will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coffee will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Coffee didn't have too much trouble with Fitzgerald as they won 63-48. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly 15 points.

While Tift County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past Westover with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 45-28. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Patriots are ranked 283rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coffee's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Tift County, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Coffee came out on top in a nail-biter against Tift County in their previous matchup last Friday, sneaking past 46-44. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
