Basketball Game Preview: Babcock Trailblazers vs. Moore Haven Terriers

The Babcock Trailblazers will square off against the Moore Haven Terriers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Babcock sitting on six straight victories and Moore Haven on seven.

Babcock's tournament run continued when they took on Ida Baker last Saturday. Babcock claimed a resounding 48-19 win over Ida Baker. The Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Babcock can attribute much of their success to Meikah Ferry, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Ferry has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Makena Ferry was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, Moore Haven blew past Avon Park, posting a 64-35 victory. The Terriers is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Monday was the nine game they've won by 20+ points or more this season.

Babcock is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Moore Haven, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
