On Monday Eastridge's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Churchville-Chili Saints. Seven seems to be a good number for the Lancers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Aaden Bishop made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Churchville-Chili will square off against Hilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (8 vs. 73). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Saints 2.8, the Cadets 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
