Basketball Game Preview: Northeastern Knights vs. Oldenburg Academy Twisters

The Northeastern Knights will square off against the Oldenburg Academy Twisters at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northeastern took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Franklin County by a score of 56-46.

Northeastern's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karri Gammon, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds. Gammon is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Adysson Kircher was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Oldenburg Academy took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 49-19 win over Southwestern. The Twisters haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Northeastern now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Oldenburg Academy, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
