If McKeel Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bell Creek Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Lyrique Sartin. The Bell Creek Academy Panthers walked away with a 69-57 win over the McKeel Academy Wildcats on Thursday thanks in part to Sartin, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 28 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. The matchup was his 16th in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylan Johnson, who posted five points and four steals. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

McKeel Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamal Whyte, who put up 18 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Sams III, who had 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Bell Creek Academy and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for McKeel Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Bell Creek Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-56 win against Lake Wales on the 17th. McKeel Academy has also already played their next contest, a 57-42 victory against Fort Meade on the 17th.
