Sewickley Academy dropped their record down to 4-10 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost  15-0 to the Serra Catholic Eagles. Sewickley Academy was red-hot at the plate heading into the  match (they scored no less than ten  runs in the three  games prior), but Serra Catholic's pitchers proved too tough.
As for Serra Catholic, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.1 runs over those games.
 For Serra Catholic's part,  Tyler Skaggs was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with six  RBI, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  Skaggs has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Jake Holmes, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
While Sewickley Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
