Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Mater Academy Charter's Ninth in Last Ten Outings + How To Watch

Mater Academy Charter extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Cooper City. They put the hurt on the Cowboys with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cowboys, too.

While Mater Academy Charter won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 25-17.

Mater Academy Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Cooper City, they dropped their record down to 11-13 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mater Academy Charter will challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cooper City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
