Football Recap: Shelbyville Takes a Loss

Shelbyville came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 28-8 to the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals. Having soared to a lofty 51 points in the game before, the Rams couldn't push the score so high this time.

Shelbyville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Warrensburg-Latham, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Shelbyville will be playing at home against Tremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Rams their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they will challenge Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
