Basketball Game Preview: Dorchester Longhorns vs. Twin River Titans

The Dorchester Longhorns and the Twin River Titans will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Dorchester has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

Dorchester is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Nebraska Lutheran on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dorchester was beaten by Nebraska Lutheran 66-27. The Longhorns were down 54-21 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Twin River was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Hampton 70-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Twin River has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Dorchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
