Basketball Recap: Sleepy Eye Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Ulm Cathedral, Sleepy Eye was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lester Prairie Bulldogs by a score of 64-57.

The win got Sleepy Eye back to even at 2-2. As for Lester Prairie, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Sleepy Eye will square off against Wabasso at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wabasso's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Lester Prairie, they will challenge Eden Valley-Watkins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lester Prairie knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Eden Valley-Watkins likes a good challenge.
