Soccer Game Preview: Lynchburg-Clay vs. Glenwood

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs will take on the Glenwood Tigers in a tournament on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Glenwood will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Lynchburg-Clay extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Mustangs' defense stepped up to hand Fayetteville-Perry a 3-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Glenwood and Western combined for 25 shots on goal on Monday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Indians. It was an even better day for Tyler Mcquithy as he scored three goals for his team.

Glenwood's victory bumped their record up to 9-7-1. As for Lynchburg-Clay, their win bumped their record up to 12-4-1.
