Basketball Game Preview: Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers vs. Forest Hills Rangers

The Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers will face off against the Forest Hills Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Berlin Brothersvalley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-49 to North Star.

Berlin Brothersvalley might have lost, but man, McKelvey Foor was a machine: he went 6 of 13 on his way to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Foor a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haydon Hutzell, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Forest Hills put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Portage by a score of 71-58.

Forest Hills pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points per game. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Berlin Brothersvalley might still be hurting after the 76-52 loss they got from Forest Hills in their previous matchup back in December of 2017. Can Berlin Brothersvalley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
