Basketball Recap: Hoover Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hoover was the 58-46 winner over Oxford when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers fell 64-58 to the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hoover suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Oxford, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will host Sparkman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oxford, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
