Tomball won the last time they faced New Caney and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Heidi Horan paced Tomball's offense, picking up nine kills. Horan got some help from Greysen Ortmeier and her 19 assists. Horan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Tomball's record now sits at 9-2. As for New Caney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.

Tomball wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Spring on the 21st. As for New Caney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Barbers Hill on the 22nd.
