John Battle got themselves on the board against Ridgeview on Tuesday, but Ridgeview never followed suit. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Wolfpack. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-4 back in March.

The victory made it two in a row for John Battle and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Ridgeview, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Battle will venture away from home to challenge Prestonsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.22 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ridgeview, they are taking a road trip to take on Lee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
