Provo waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Payson Lions by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Tuesday.

Gehrig Orchard was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Taven Lancaster, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Provo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Provo's record is now 14-8. As for Payson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-15.

Provo will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
