Valley won the last time they faced Beauregard and things went their way on Thursday too. The Rams came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 4-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Bryant Hopkins spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up 12 Ks.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-9-1. As for Beauregard, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-11.

Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
