Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Chargers vs. Brookfield Central Lancers

Hamilton hasn't had much luck against Brookfield Central recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Hamilton Chargers are taking a road trip to face off against the Brookfield Central Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Hamilton came up short against Marquette University and fell 68-56.

Meanwhile, Brookfield Central waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 61-51 win over the Hilltoppers. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Hilltoppers are ranked 175th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brookfield Central pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Hamilton came up short against Brookfield Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 72-65. Can Hamilton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
