Basketball Recap: Lovelady Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lovelady can now relate to. They were dealt a 61-30 defeat at the hands of the Frankston Indians on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 65 points in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lovelady's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Frankston, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season.

Lovelady does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Frankston, they will challenge Marlin on Thursday. Marlin will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Frankston surely won't give up without a fight.
