Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bijou Kebbay and Kay Perry Lead Randolph-Macon Academy to Victory

Randolph-Macon Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They strolled past Foxcroft with points to spare, taking the game 47-28. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-31 back in December of 2024.

Leading Randolph-Macon Academy to victory were Kay Perry and Bijou Kebbay. Perry posted 19 points, while Kebbay scored 15 points. Kebbay's afternoon made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Foxcroft's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Flora Warr, who put up eight points. Another player making a difference was Ava Pumphrey, who had seven points.

Randolph-Macon Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.0 points per game. As for Foxcroft, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph-Macon Academy will challenge Quantico at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Foxcroft, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Oakcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
