Baseball Recap: Smidt Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus last Friday, Smidt Tech came back down to earth. The Grey Wolves came up short against the Tigers on Thursday, falling 21-15. The Grey Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 21-9.

Smidt Tech's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Smidt Tech will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rise Kohyang at 2:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Central City Value on the 15th.
