Basketball Recap: Pineview Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pineview Christian can now relate to. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Victory Christian Academy Eagles on Tuesday. The Warriors' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anne Montgomery led the charge by dropping a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Montgomery has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played. Brooklyn Durden was another key player, putting up 20 points and three steals.

Pineview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Victory Christian Academy, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.
