West barely beat North the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers blew past the RedHawks 11-3 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Pioneers, who have now won five games in a row.

West's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for North, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West beat the RedHawks by a score of 3-1 later that day.
