Raton extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Addison Medina. The Tigers came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Santa Rosa Lions for which the team can thank Medina, who hit 100% for six kills and 16 digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last 43 times she's played.

Raton took Santa Rosa into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 22-25, 24-26, 15-11.

Raton's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Santa Rosa, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-10 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Raton will face off against Clayton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Santa Rosa, they will take on Pecos at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
