Volleyball Recap: Norwich RVT Takes a Loss

Norwich RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Woodstock Academy Centaurs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Centaurs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Monday.

While Norwich RVT was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-12.

When it comes to explaining why Norwich RVT lost, don't look at Landon O'Brien. Despite the final result, he had 11 digs.

Norwich RVT's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Woodstock Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Norwich RVT will face off against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodstock Academy, they will challenge Newtown at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
