Soccer Recap: King George Falls Short of Atlee in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King George can now relate to. They came up short against the Atlee Raiders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, King George can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while Atlee are ranked 41st).

King George's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for Atlee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3-3.

King George does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atlee, they will take on Hanover on Friday.
