Soccer Game Preview: Bradley-Bourbonnais vs. Sandburg

Bradley-Bourbonnais is 0-7-1 against Sandburg since April of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Boilermakers will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 11:30 a.m. Bradley-Bourbonnais will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Bradley-Bourbonnais had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Bishop McNamara on Tuesday. The Boilermakers never let the Fightin' Irish get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Bradley-Bourbonnais considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Bishop McNamara with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rylee Villegas (2), Aaliyah Lanum (2), and Nia Lawrence.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Sandburg sidestepped Riverside-Brookfield for a 1-0 victory.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' record is now 4-2. As for Sandburg, their record now sits at 2-0.

Bradley-Bourbonnais couldn't quite get it done against Sandburg in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Boilermakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
