It was a proper cat-fight when West Limestone challenged Ardmore on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Katie Lyn Kyle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 19 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ali Blair, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 matchups.

West Limestone's victory bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Ardmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-17-1.
