Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. North Side

The Polytechnic Parrots are taking a road trip to take on the North Side Steers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Polytechnic and five for North Side.

Polytechnic lost 5-1 to Wyatt on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Polytechnic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 573rd, while Wyatt are ranked 245th).

Meanwhile, North Side came up short against Paschal on Tuesday, falling 8-1. North Side were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

North Side now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Polytechnic, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.
