Football Game Preview: Seton Hall Prep Pirates vs. Don Bosco Prep Ironmen + How To Watch

Seton Hall Prep is 1-6 against Don Bosco Prep since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Ironmen at 1:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Seton Hall Prep turned things around against Pope John XXIII on Saturday. They skirted past Pope John XXIII 17-15.

Seton Hall Prep can attribute much of their success to Jaylin Bullock, who threw for 125 yards and one touchdown, and Leonard West, who gained 137 total yards. Bullock also rushed for 48 rushing yards, marking his first of the season.

The Ironmen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Green Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ironmen have posted against the Green Knights since November 23, 2019.

Seton Hall Prep's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Don Bosco Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
