Basketball Recap: Tabi Clark Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Herriman

Pleasant Grove won the last time they faced Herriman and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pleasant Grove Vikings walked away with a 56-43 win over the Herriman Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Pleasant Grove got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tabi Clark out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. What's more, Clark also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Makayla Boyer was another key player, going 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points.

Pleasant Grove was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Herriman lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Grace Cannon, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bergen Jettie, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 13 points.

Pleasant Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Herriman, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Pleasant Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-48 loss against Corner Canyon on the 20th. As for Herriman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-36 defeat against Fremont on the 20th.
