Summit Academy took down Providence Hall 54-37 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Summit Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Avery Backus, who scored 22 points along with eight steals and seven assists. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Summit Academy's points. Audrey Druce was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five steals.
Summit Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Providence Hall, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.
