Basketball Game Preview: Gunnison Valley Bulldogs vs. Millard Eagles

The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs will challenge the Millard Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gunnison Valley has five straight victories, Millard has 29 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Monday, Gunnison Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their game against St. Joseph, but they still walked away with a 61-55 win.

Meanwhile, Millard scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 70-63 to Milford. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 21-13 in the first quarter.

Millard's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gunnison Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Gunnison Valley beat Millard 60-53 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Does Gunnison Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Millard turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
