Football Recap: Hazen Piles Up the Points Against Redmond

Hazen won the last time they faced Redmond and things went their way on Friday too. The Highlanders took their game with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over the Mustangs. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Highlanders considering their ten-point performance the matchup before.

A big part of Hazen's win came down to the chemistry between Braylon Glaefke and his top target Eden Gibert. Glaefke rushed for 94 yards and a pair of scores while Gibert gained 157 total yards.

Hazen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 347 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Hazen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gibert and Elijah Carman.

Hazen pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Redmond, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
