Volleyball Recap: Centennial Has No Trouble Against Panther Creek

Centennial barely beat Panther Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

While Centennial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-12, 25-13.

Centennial found their leader in freshman Nadia Cobos, who had 14 digs and seven assists.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Panther Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Centennial will challenge Plano West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Panther Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Red Oak on the 28th.
