Basketball Recap: Hollidaysburg Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Hollidaysburg came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They pulled ahead with a 71-70 photo finish over the Bishop Carroll Huskies. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Will Tremel and Jace Casses certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Tremel went 6 for 8 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds, while Casses posted 18 points and six boards. That's the most boards Casses has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Llehson Walker, who earned nine points and three steals.

Hollidaysburg pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Bishop Carroll, their record now sits at 7-10.

Hollidaysburg has already played their next game, a 51-37 win against Altoona on the 3rd. As for Bishop Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-44 defeat against Penn Cambria on the 3rd.
