Jesuit (Beaverton) trounced traditional power Tigard, 56-21, while Lincoln (Portland) soundly thumped their second-straight ranked opponent, defeating Tualatin 28-7.
ÿ
Jesuit's Paul Weatheroy gained 185 yards on 17 carries for the undefeated Crusaders (4-0), including three touchdown runs of five, 31 and 64 yards. His backfield mate, Raphiel Lambert, had 139 yards on seven carries, and accounted for three scores in the romp over the Tigers (0-4).
ÿ
Lincoln's win at Tualatin started slowly for the Cardinals (3-0), who arrived just a half hour before the scheduled game time due to a late bus. But Lincoln's defense was more than on-time, shutting out the normally prolific Tualatin offense until yielding a touchdown with less than a minute left in the ballgame.
ÿ
Lincoln rolled up 320 yards of total offense in the contest. They have not lost a regular season football game since the 2003 season.

Bulldog quarterback Jake Haberly connected on 10 of 20 passes for 286 yards, including two long touchdowns (79, 80 yards) to wide out Colby Prince. Prince finished with five catches for 209 yards. West Albany (4-0) faces cross-town rival South Albany next week.

Game of the Week: ÿSecond-ranked Wilsonville rallied from a 14-0 deficit at home against No. 7 Hillsboro, edging the Spartans, 23-21, in the Northwest Oregon Conference opener for both teams. Jesse Staub got the rally started for the Wildcats, returning a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown to cut the Hillsboro lead to 14-7 early in the second quarter. Wilsonville added a field goal and five-yard touchdown run by Carl Sommer to lead 17-14 at half.

Wilsonville running back Morrie Conway put away the game with just over four minutes left in the third quarter, when he romped 80 yards for a touchdown. He finished the game with 197 yards on 13 carries.
