University Prep is 10-0 against Excelsior Charter since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The University Prep Jaguars are taking a road trip to face off against the Excelsior Charter Eagles at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (University Prep has three straight victories, Excelsior Charter has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

University Prep's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Riverside Prep. The Jaguars' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Sebastian Verd?n and Daniel Yi scored both of University Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Excelsior Charter didn't have quite enough to beat Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

University Prep has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those eight games. As for Excelsior Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Everything went University Prep's way against Excelsior Charter in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as University Prep made off with a 10-2 victory. Will University Prep repeat their success, or does Excelsior Charter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
