Palisades waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took down Varsity Opponent 26-7. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-0 win last Saturday.

The critical scores for Palisades came from Miracle Moore, Kamaria Hampton, Tynilla Simpkins, and Jamilah Jones.

Palisades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Moore, Mariah Rushin, and Simpkins picked up one apiece. Simpkins is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as she's now made five or more in each of the last three games she's played. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Palisades' victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
